Help Needed! Photoshop & D610

    Hi all,

So i recently purchased a Nikon D610 as an upgrade to my D90, I've taken a few shots in RAW on it and went to open them in Photoshop CC and they wouldn't open. A message saying to check updates appeared. I checked updates on PS but theres nothing there - it faded so i can't even click on it.

I did some research and have seen the Camera Raw Plug In isn't supporting the D610. I have since downloaded the DNG converter 8.3 but that hasn't helped at all, its sitting in my Applications folder and i still can't open the pictures in PS. I've clicked on it and it just opens a window to convert some photos which is sort of what i want, but also not at all. I do wedding photography and need to be able to open a lot of photos in LR 5 and PS CC. Can someone steer me in the right direction please?

I'm also on a mac is that helps.

    Thank you in advance.

Can you import them into Lightroom first and then bring the ones you need to retouch into PS by 'CMD + E'?

I would assume there's a plug in for you camera whether with photoshop or the manufacturer that can add in support for your camera. I'd be very surprised that a Nikon camera wouldn't have photoshop support.

https://forums.adobe.com/message/6079970 there's a thread here that talks about an update for that specific camera but also says that the 610 isn't support in photoshop cs5 or earlier.

Hi anyone with experience of dpp? It is the software that comes with cannon dslr. I am using the stamp tool effectively but when I go to find it the file is gone. It is driving me crazy! Online tutorial say it will be seen when it is printed but what if you aren't going to print it!
