Hi, my auld lad is currently finding his sky subscription with sports too high to continue with so has asked me to look into other options. Are there other satellite systems that can be installed similar to sky where sports, movies and the usual suspects can be viewed? He's looking for something reasonably priced to install, I think max he'd go is €200 - €300.

UPC is not an option in our area.

Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions

Have a look at the likes of the Amiko Alien forum.
