kobo ereader not showing on Computer

    My kobo ereader is not showing up as a drive on "computer" . It was yesterday. Other external drives are showing. Am I missing a driver?

    I have a Kobo Mini; when I plug it in I have to select the connect option on the reader's screen itself to have it recognised, otherwise it just charges. Maybe this is your issue?

    If it worked before then drivers aren't an issue. Maybe the USB cable is at fault? Try different USB cable or USB ports perhaps?

    It might be worth trying it on someone else's computer just to see if the issue is with your machine or not?
