Have this and found it quite good. Speeds are comparable if not slightly better than O2. On a good day, 5mbps, on a bad one, 2mbps. As something for the odd download, internet use in the house, its grand. You wouldnt be using it to stream movies or that. Cant go wrong for a tenner.

seems to be a mistake on their site?

    FREE €17.27 /month 3G (12 months) 5GB

    FREE €10.17 /month 3G (1 month SIM only) 20GB

The 12 month contract is €7 a month more expensive and you get 15gb less???

It's says the monthly rolling contract is half price for a limited time only so I doubt it's a mistake.

Lads could I use this as broadband for the house? And on multiple devices. I have an ipad with wifi only so a SIM card is surely no good to me?
I know it's limited compared to other fixed line packages but I don't need any thing greater.

Yes of course. Just get a Wifi dongle or router and insert the sim. Some devices may limit the number of connections though so ensure what you buy will cover enough.

This is fairly cheap and seems to allow up to 10 connections.

Got this on Good Friday and yes it's a limited €10 deal. I'm using it as my main wifi source in the house and it's fine . However DO NOT go over your limit as I have learned as I opened my bill this week....... Damn Netflix......
    Great value apart from that

Might be a good option for iPad sim?

I see Meteor also have a pay as you go add on for €10 per month you get unlimited data (capped at 7.5GB)

I presume this would also work in a dongle?

That's a Phone rather than Data SIM so it would'nt work on a dongle.

Anyone know if the €10 20GB broadband offer & SIM card size would work in an iPhone 4 as the modem? A couple of years back, I trialled the MiFi modem but the wifi signal wasn't even strong enough to be picked up by my macbook which was right beside it. I live in an apartment block so the neighbours' signals were even outcompeting it. But I could tether to my iphone no problem. So it looks like the iPhone is a better 'modem' in my house. I have a new phone and phone contract now so the 20GB deal looks attractive. I've looked at the snazzy Huawei one with 4G but it's no good if it can't outcompete my neighbours. So will the SIM card fit & work in my iphone as a modem?

You can change the channel your Wi-Fi operates on the Router / Mi-Fi device to improve signal if there are multiple Wi-Fi signals around . See below.

Re the IPhone it should work fine as it is a typical Sim just make sure you get the right Sim size for the IPhone.

Could you tell me, please, how long it takes the approval and the sim to arrive? Ordered it yesterday. If they are going to ask me for a deposit, I think of passing it. Not worth it, 50 euro locked in for 6 month for a tenner service. Happened to me before, don't wanna go down the same route.

ANYONE going for this deal should use the o2 card so they can not rob off you they can only take what is on the card.
