Ditching Sky?

If you are considering ditching Sky then perhaps this might be a suitable buy?
Basically €90 delivered via Parcel Motel gets you a 320GB twin tuner Freesat recorder with live pause, dual recording etc...
The Argos outlet have these from time to time on their Ebay site....hurry only 1 left there at the moment!

So first you cancel Sky and then remove SkyHD+ box and then replace with this box and everything works ~ is that all one has to do ?

No, you have to get a Saorview box for those, assuming your TV doesn't already support Saorview.

This is only for the free channels? You won't be able to get Geography, History or Discovery mentioned above or any of the Sports or movies, Sky Atlantic, etc. or am I missing something?

No. Only the Freesat channels. BBCs, ITVs, Ch 4s, Ch 5s, Showcase:eek:, And a heap of shopping channels.
