    If you transfer the domain to us and use our nameservers with a low TTL then you'd just have to update the IP address if it ever changed .. 

    ie. you'd use our DNS servers and simply point the A records at your own IP

    Does that make sense?

    Yes, it does. I'll be transferring the domain to you within 24h if my current provider cannot sort it out.
