    Hi,

Due to have an extension built in next few months. Just wondering if people can tell what paperwork should I have on completion? For instance, with electrical work I believe there is a certificate of work that must be produced to prove the work was carried out by qualified electrician. Is there anything else that I should have apart from invoice? If I sell the house down the line just want to make sure I have all paperwork needed..

    Cheers.

Sorry, left out an important piece of info, it's under 40 sq m so no need for planning permission.

Just to clarify what scwazrh said...Opinion on Compliance with Building Regulations, Opinion on Compliance with Planning Permission (Exemption).

    ...and...

Most likely you will also need Health & Safety documentation/paperwork. See here: http://www.hsa.ie/eng/Publications_and_Forms/Publications/Construction/homeowners_guidance.pdf
