    Hi all,
This is probably a stupid question and apologies if it's been asked before but u can't find any definite answer. Do you need to physically print the booking confirmation aerlingus sends you or do you just need to have the booking reference to check in?
    Thanks!

You can check in at the aer lingus desk with just your passport.

You can also check in online 30 hours before your flight and print your boarding pass at one of the machines at the airport.

The self service machine asks for either passport/booking ref or last 4 digits of the credit card used to book the flight.

You don't really need anything if you plan on bringing your passport, that will suffice for the automated (green kiosk) machines or for checking in at a desk. A faster option if you're checking in at one of the green kiosks is that you can swipe the credit card that was used to buy the ticket(s) and the machine will recognise you but obviously you'll still ID at the gate.

I note the booking ref. in my mobile phone notepad just in case but never print it off.

I thought as much, but happy to have it confirmed. Thanks a million for your quick replies
