forgot to post this last week.

Played in a downpour so had the clubs out drying afterwards...they were a little manky so decided to clean them.

Bucket of boiling water and some flash for an hour or so...yer only man.

Got lazy and forgot about them, next day dried them and stuck them in the bag.

4 days later teeing off the 3rd and driver feels funny....ignore and play on.
Driver again off the 5th..half way through backswing and there is a definite "slosh" sound, top the ball into the trees.

Check driver head and its full of water...damn adjustable heads.
Spend the round trying to coax the water out as the head tool was in the boot.

When I got home a good shot glass of water came out...mental.

So, dont leave your adjustable headed clubs in a bucket of water overnight...GreeBo's tip for the day.

    I don't what's more unbelievable.
A driver full or water or you hitting a driver twice in the space of 3 holes :)

Would have using the tool on the course have been considered in play adjustment.

I am joking - but some dick heads out there would say something.

Yes. Not the using of the tool itself.
Removing the water and so deliberately changing the swing weight after already having use the club would be though. The 'damage' to the club did not occur during that round so you cannot fix it without being penalised.

I don't believe that the club had suffered damage, by being immersed in a bucket of flashy water, and returning it to standard would be similar to drying off wet grips or clubheads and therefore allowed by the rules? keeping in mind that play must not be held up to allow the correction.
