What MDF setting for percolator?

    Hi,

We are heading off for 2 weeks in the (hopefully) sun soon.

The hotel we are staying in will provide a coffee percolator in our room, so I am very much looking forward to some nice coffee and croissants etc for breakfast on the balcony while the kids sit quietly in the corner to allow me savour the moment! (yeah right!)

I'd like to grind a bag of coffee to bring with me but I don't have a percolator at home so: anyone got a percolator and a Gaggia MDF grinder? If so which grinder setting do you recommend using?

    Cheers,

    ~LTD.

When you say Percolator do you mean Moka pot or electric thingy?

    If Moka this might help:

Grind your coffee on a drip coffee setting, about as fine as table salt. You need enough coffee to fill the filter basket, which is about 15 to 17 grams for a 4-cup Bialetti moka pot.

    Hi,

I believe it is essentially filter paper system that drips into a jug on a hot plate.

SO I guess what's the recommended setting for filter paper?
