How do I apply discount in Sage Instant Accounts?

    Hi,
Does Sage Instant Accounts allow the user to apply a discount?
When I'm doing up the invoice I can only find 'Discount' in the 'Footer Details'. But when I input a percentage, nothing is applied and 'Total Discount' which appears on the printout (bottom right corner) remains zero and the 'Invoice Total' remains as the figure without any discount.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I think there is an option to put the discount % on the customer record and it will apply the discount everytime you will raise an invoice...

Thanks bbari. I will try it at the end of the month when I'm doing the invoices. I probably need an option to apply a discount on a one-off basis but I'll see if your tip works. Thanks again.

    You are welcome.
If it was Sage Line 50, I would have checked on my machine to see where exactly you need to click! Let me know if you need further help.
