just as a bit of fun, try and have a guess at some of the prices for next year.

    I'll get some started.

    Suarez - 14.0
    Sturridge - 11.0
    Aguero - 12.5
    Yaya - 11.0
    Hazard - 10.5
    Ramsey - 9.5
    Rooney - 10.5
    Terry - 6.5
    Cahill - 6.5
    Coleman - 6.0

Yeah I'd say they will all be about right. Will also be looking at the prices of Eriksen and Sterling. I think the price of Crystal Palace defenders will be very interesting too.

All those look about right probably switch Yaya & Rooneys prices round shame Ramsey is going to get such a price bump he's unlikely to be in many FPL teams at that price I don't think.

I would say Palace defenders will all be 5.5m probably a pretty awkward price still going to have a couple though!

The world cup always makes the teams act fast would have been better if Shaw & Lallana were priced up before they move!

    Mata 8.5
    Ozil 9
    Cazorla 8.5

depending on the manager, Mata could be a goldmine next year if they pitch the price cheap enough.

Yeah the 5.0 to 5.5 range is a tricky one. Cos for a little bit more you could have a defender from one of the top teams. Or for a bit less there's often value in the 4.0-4.5 range.

I think 5.5 for a Palace defender would be a bit much. 4.5 would be good value. 5.0 would be a tough decision!

Ditto with Januzaj, if he get regular game time. Didn't watch much United this year, but anytime I saw him he seemed streets ahead of Young/Valencia/Nani. I'd guess 6.0 or 6.5 for him which could be good value. Will be keeping an eye on him in the friendlies.

Haha you guys are enthusiastic, I'm refusing to think about the strategy of the game til August

Depends if you think they are going to carry on being as solid at the back. Pulis showed he could do it over a season at Stoke so will be interesting to see if he can repeat the trick next season! At 5.5 they would certainly want to be keeping a few as there wasn't much attacking threat from them at all!

He was one I had on my very advanced short list! He just looks like he needs to be let off the leash to start racking up points. Hopefully he gets welled priced next season I wouldn't be surprised if he came in at 7.5 in that sort of "we don't think he'll start but if you do then you have to pay a premium" bracket that you get with mids at the top clubs.

    RVP 10m
    could be value at that.

Suarez will be no price... Real bound!

I will be having Ramsey at whatever price he is.

I'm sure he will be closer to 12

I still think I'd be avoiding him. He seems to be back to his usual injury prone self this season.

    Bony anyone? 8.5? 9?

Rooney either, will exit to PSG, thought new manager doesn't rate him.

    Dzeko 9.5
    Sterling 7.0
    Sturridge 10.5

I wonder what price Michu will rock in at. He should see a significant fall.

The United defenders, bar Evra if he's still there, should also be a bit cheaper considering the poor season they have just had.

Every year it's the same: come August you look at your meagre 100M kitty and think it's nigh on impossible to get a great team together as everyone's prices are so high compared to the previous year...

..until you find the new Ramsey, Sterling, Lallana etc etc

Kieran Trippier Burnley will hopefully be <4.5 as he will be one of my first signings 16 assists from RB and they should keep the odd CS at home. He is my prediction for the new FSA Mickey turner hero of 2014/2015.

Best part of fantasy football for me is playing around with my team before the first week starts.

    Reus 9m
    Garay 7m
    Shaw 7m
    Coleman 7.5m
    Barkley 6m
    Vidal 8.5m
    All Man Utd squad members;)

I wonder how much a forward line of Aguero-Suarez-Costa will set you back?

It's a pity he isn't even going to get the Summer to rest.

35m+ doesn't fit in a day 1 budget..... even shelling out $14m for Suarez is a risk

I'll start p[lotting when the fixtures are released.

Shaw may be a good option if hes's no. 1 LB at Man Utd.

I'd say he will be. Has Evra confirmed he's jumping ship yet? I'd imagine he will follow Rio and Vidic.

We should also set up a thread for new players worth keeping an eye on in the promoted teams.

    Maybe back to 6.5m again?!

I reckon Jordan Henderson could be a useful midfielder next season for a relative low price he could be the next Aaron Ramsey really. Should be guaranteed game time whereas I see Sterling/Coutinho being rotated whereas Suarez and Sturridge will be very expensive
