Any recommendations for replacement brake blocks for Shimano 105? Are Swissstops worth the premium?

Yes! Just make sure you match blocks to rim I.e. Carbon / aluminium

I like Kool Stop as well - good in the wet (using in alumium wheel so can't comment in carbon)

Koolstop salmon made a noticable difference over my generic Tiagra blocks on the road-bike.

I also got Koolstops on the hybrid but don't really notice them there as v-brakes with straight-bar levers give so much braking force that I don't feel that it makes much of a difference really. Maybe in the rain but I'm so used to them now that I can't really remember.

It was a noticable difference braking from the hoods on the road-bike though.

I've ordered off here before and been happy with the pads. Really good value.
