    They had these before. They were a disaster. They weren't enforced. Everyone thought that everyone ELSE was going to leave the car at home, so there were more cars than ever, and congestion was worse.

    Private motoring is far too lucrative to government coffers. Nothing serious will ever be done to dissuade it.

    would be a great ide. Pedestriaise the entire stephens green, college green once a month on a sunday. Would add a lot to the city!

    All this is is some road closures for festivals - nothing else. Massively misdescribed in the headline of the article.
