Hello,

New to 'Boards' and hoping can find help and be of help

I'm looking for some guidance if any one can help, should I be successful in developing a purpose made non medicinal beauty product.

Is there a governing body website in Ireland or Europe I need to contact? Do I need a patent? Are there rules & regs I need to adhere too? Does someone need to approve it? Can you direct me to a website with such guidelines?

Hey Lorna, if it was me, I'd grab a pen and paper, and go talk to people in the same field doing similar products preferably in Ireland. Some will be friendly others not so much but you would get a whole host of information beyond what we could probably provide here. Would be my first port of call anyway.

As regards approval, it really depends what it is and whats in it. I don't know enough this area, so I'll bow out for someone more knowledgeable.
