How should I install this?

    Hi folks,
I was hoping to get some advice on the below. We are thinking about installing some dividers in to our shop. I've done a rough mock up below.

The idea is to cordon off the consultation area (ie where the table is) to give a bit more privacy during consultations because we want to offer hot desking space in the shop area.

We were considering polycarbonate sheets as they come in a range of opacities and would be safer and stronger than glass.

The main question is how to install them. Any advice would be brilliant!

    Thanks

A carpenter would be able to make a frame from 3x2 and use a router to cut a channel the thickness of the sheeting into the timber.

It would then be a simple job to attach the complete unit to the wall and the floor.

If you're considering using 2 sheets the one to the right could be laid on its edge with the other joined to it and having the 'door' next to the wall rather than near the counter.

Personally I would hang them, provided of course that there is a decent anchor point i.e rafter, etc., behind that false ceiling...

Using something like these ... http://www.tecni-cable.co.uk/Products/TECNIGrip-Cable-Suspension-Fittings

Ending up with something like this..
