Trying to track down a low budget 90s Irish film- "Cahersiveen"

We had an old vhs tape of a film made in Co Kerry when I was growing up. It was made in the 1990s sometime. It was shot in Cill Rialig near Ballinskelligs and I remember a scene in Valencia Island.
It was about a woman living alone, suffering flashbacks of her father coming up the stairs to abuse her- who has an escaped convict hole up in her rural home, as he is on the run. Either she is deaf, or she is mute the whole film, but she doesn't speak.
It was low budget, but great quality. My grandfather starred in it as a postman.
I have tried google-ing it and looking for it in trinity tv and film base and iftn.

Can anybody else suggest where I might be able to try track it down?

Unfortunately I don't have any names to search and I'm not sure about the distribution, I think we had a copy to watch in my grandparents house, because my grandfather had appeared in it.
Like the story, the vhs tape has gone for a walk to the lost sock vortex.
    Any suggestions appreciated
