It's a safety plan, what are hazards to you and other employees and joe public while you are doing your work. Slips, trips, hazards etc. how you are going to start, finish job safely.

Method statement is basically you explaining what you are intending to do, when you are intending to do it, lenght of time it will take to complete, operatives to sign the method statement, hazards and risks to be highlighted and identified, area where you will be working must be highlighted on a drawing.

Different site safety officers have different formulas so would advise you to check which type he/she would prefer.

Once you get the formula off the safety officer they are fairly fast to do.

A HSS is site & job specific to the task in hand & is not something that you will be able to download. You may download a basic template but this will not be enough for a site in 2 days.

PM me & I will send you some outline & a copy of some of mine that should get you over the line. Also detail the job in hand & your email address.

If its any use to you at this stage, pm you email and I can forward you my MS, it for schools mech installation, then all you have to do do is fill in your name and some other daily operating work procedures.

Its handy enough, I got the template from a h&s guy.
