HTC One X + ... Wifi/Airplane mode issue

    Ive an issue with my HTC One X+ in that its stuck between wifi and airplane mode.
    I had near bricked it trying to load a rom onto it but a mate managed to get a rom (elegance) onto it so its back to near working status. Bar trying to get a wifi signal. In the settings there is no MAC address listed as being assigned.

    How would I get a MAC address assigned? This is not my main phone so dont have a spare sim card to even access the net.
    Ive tried 2 different roms today which has not fixed the issue so reverted back to the elegance rom.

    any ideas?
