sheep wire connectors

hi could someone tell me the name of the tool and fittings for joining sheep wire.Just spent a day at it and many more to do, my hands are not goin to stick tieing the heavy duty wire.

just the tool I was thinking on did not think they were as expensive

just seen that looks like a decent deal anybody have much experience with them ?

I use gripples. just saw the link above. Truly an excellent product. You can restrain after a few years if they get loose in a matter of seconds. I got a the strainer and a starter pack of 50 medium sized gripples for about €90 last year.

I had an old yoke with a chain on it before. Was total rubbish. Then got the gripples and couldn't believe the difference. Its a tad expensive but worth it. Their are two sized wrenches. The one I got is the smaller one but works well.

I have the one with the chain I find it great id still be useing it just useing grilples to join it up and for one last pull

don't know if you are caught up with the obsesion with green tinsley but
tornado had a range of wire that came with gripples attached.100m rolls hi tensile.80-6-30? they also do gripples seperately have always found thier products good value.
I have found it good prefer the rectangle sections easier to work with plus sheep can get their heads back out without ripping out their tags .

I just use gripples & an ordinary hayes strainer

maybe use a vice grips to help out but gets the job done

(A local lad was caught stealing the gripples off the rolls of sheep wire in the local co op )

I will never understand these people. If you're going to risk your reputation by stealing, at least make sure the reward if you're not caught is REALLY worth it.

I agree. Fecking sicken u. Always trying to be one ahead. They are no better than the ' travelling salesmen ' that we all give out about.,
