Sky or UPC ?

    Have UPC basic package at the moment (without movies), plus have Sky Go via the XBOX at extra cost.
    Total is about 26+48= €74.

    Am thinking of cancelling UPC and going with Sky with movies packages. I should then also get the Sky Go for free.

    Anyone have any good/bad experiences or reasons no to do this?

    Anything i should ask for if placing the order? (special offers etc)

    Sky contacted me with a great "come back deal. Basic plus movies plus sports for €20. 75% off. When I called back to accept I was told the person was not authorised to give that level of discount. Annoying!!! I'll probably still go back to sky as I'm on my 3rd UPC box and I think they are very poor.

    Went back to Sky after a long hiatus with UPC. The horizon box was the final straw.

    I couldn't be happier with Sky now. Paying the bit extra is worth it...

    Thanks everyone.

    It's a big decision for me considering the stuff i have had to put up with in the past.

    The last time, the Sky installation "engineer" could not understand that i was only 3 floors up.
    They have/had a limit of 3 floors.

    Except my floor was the 4th floor of the building according to the lift rather than the 3rd floor.
    The floors started from below ground though and no matter how i tried to explain this fact, it did not work.

    Oh well, different place now, let's see what happens.
