Heuston to Dun Laoighre

I need to be in Dun Laoighre at 11:30am one day next week and was looking at getting a train which arrives into Heuston at 10am.
Is that sufficient time?

Yes that will be plenty of time.

Take a LUAS to Abbey Street, and walk to Tara Street Station and then take a DART.

Alternatively, take a 145 to Nassau Street and then a 7 to Dun Laoghaire.

Is it easy to find Tara Street? I was going to go along to Connolly

That would just waste time. Far easier to walk 5 minutes from Abbey Street to Tara Street.

I used to do this journey regularly and off peak I found the 145 (alight at Westmoreland st) and walk to tara street to be pretty quick.

You'd be better with the 145 then the DART I'd say, it's a shorter walk and the bus will beat the LUAS most days. It stops on D'Olier Street, not Westmoreland Street so you'd alight the bus and head left, then turn right so you can walk east along the quays until you reach the station. Nice and simple.
