Is there a way to change the region encoding on an original Xbox?

    I recently bought a copy of Steel Battalion online, I looked online and they said that the game didn't have any region encoding or at least would work in UK Xboxs. Once I got the game then I realised that they were completely wrong.

    Is there a way to change the region on my original Xbox? I'd prefer not to but I will softmod it if its the only way.

    Yes you can change the region once you mod the console. Sorry I can't post any links as I'm on my phone.

    You need the Enigmah Video Mode switcher I believe. Best to run it off a DVD.
