What peoples thoughts on the upcoming little brother of the Moto G? Personally it looks decent but I can't see it doing amazing in Ireland with the Moto G being so cheap and so good already, what's your thoughts?

Specs-wise, there's a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon paired with 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, a 1,980mAh battery and dual-SIM slots. On the expansion front, the microSD slot will only take cards up to 32GB, and there's a 5-megapixel camera poking out of the back. There's no word on price, but given that the Moto G retails for just under $200, we'd expect this to cost no more than a Benjamin-and-a-half.

It would have to be around €100 to be worth it, even then when the Moto G is going around for less than €150, you have to wonder if it's worth it? Guess we'll have to see the phone in action and a final price to find out.

That's it it hard to see how it can better the Moto G. There's rumours going around that the moto G is finished production , so this might be the replacement till a new one is released. Either way id say its an emerging markets product, we will know better in a few days.

I can see it filling the niche of those who want a decent touchscreen without going over €100 or importing from China. It doesn't at all have to be better, just good enough to justify spending €50 less compared to the Moto G. People could pick it up as a cheap back-up phone, or people who want to try a smartphone without parting with more than their comfortable with while still getting a decent phone for their money.

Depending on the final price I might recommend this to a few relatives to replace some truly horrendous cheap contract phones.
