    Hey folks,
My 2004 1.4 hdi peugeot packed it in as I was on my way to drop the kid off.
I have`nt had time to take it to the shop yet and this problem has persisted then can go away.
Basically its like the car just suddenly shuts into safe mode loses acceleration and with the foot to the floor in 5th gear it cant go above 30miles an hour or over 2000 revs.
The engine fault light comes on and disappears maybe a day later then the problem returns.
I ran a diagnostics check on it and this is the data that showed up,hopefully someone can interpret it or offer a bit of advice as two mechanics have missed this fault and hence the problem continues. This is the fault that my scan read

P2137 Throttle pedal position sensor switch B/C voltage correlation
    Calc load 20.78%
Coolant Temp 62.C Eng speen 769.21rpm
    Veh speed 0km/h I.A.T 33.0c
    M.A.F 9.33g/s Air status off
    Obdsup EOBD Mil-Dist 41km

I/M readiness MIS FUE CCM cat hca eva AIR acr 02s htr egr
I will be honest I have not a clue what all that data means but I hope someone can interpret it for me and maybe a bit of advice on how to fix this and what price I am looking at as the car is bleeding me dry.
    Many thanks in advance

Looks like you have a problem with the accelerator pedal or the wiring harness supplying it.
Btw what diagnostics are you reading it with..?

If you pm me your vin number then i can post up the correct part number for the accelerator pedal for you..:)

The vin number is displayed on the lower end of the windscreen (passenger side) and it starts with VF3

There should be a long number on the side of your pedal like e.g. 96 714 339 80.....use this number to pick up the correct part from a breakers yard as they peugeot part number i posted above will make no since to them.
