    Hi,

just been diagnosed as being hypothyroid about a year ago, last blood results showed a tsh of 10.6 and a t4 if 20.7, in taking 50 mcg of eltroxin, but still feel pretty rotten, just so exhausted all the time, and also ive been having the most horrendous leg cramps, have explained this to my gp who doesn't think it could be related to thyroid, has anybody else experienced this?

from my own experience it is and it is not. its mainly because I was not moving about as i used so , so maybe you the same. so its a build up of acid in your muscles . for me it was in my calf's. my GP at the time thought me to push my arms against a wall step one leg forward and one back and stretch the calf muscle a few times for each leg. I did that for weeks and weeks and it works you have to lean in and out and stretch calf muscle and heel to the ground.
god I hope i have explained it so you understand . maybe some one in sports might have a better description.
