Irish Rails fine: How much is it when I failed to pay in 21 days?

    Hey

    I tried calling them numerous times as well as send a few emails regarding this. I had no way to pay on time at the office as I was out of the country for a while and now I've missed the date by a couple of days.

    Does anyone know how much they add to the fine?

    Contact them again in advance of a summons issuing, if all else fails call into the office that issued the standard fare fine and pay there.

    Call into the office as soon as you can and explain the circumstances behind the late response and they might not increase the fine.

    You were in the country when you were issued the fine.

    If not paid by the deadline it now moves to a court summons.

    Max penalty at court is 1000 euro and/or 3 months in jail.

    Where you out of the country for the 21 days from the time you were issued the fine? Did you appeal it?
