Just looking for something cheap (but definitely waterproof) for cycling in the rain. Over-trousers are fine

I've seen a few online (like Regatta) but there are some reviews saying they aren't waterproof. Can anyone recommend something good? Cheers

I use ones from aldi occasionally. Work fine.

Got a few years out of a pair from Aldi, only used for commuting. Now have a cheap pair of Gelert ones. Keep them folded up in my bag along with overshoes and a rain jacket.

Nice one, do the Aldi ones definitely keep you form getting wet (i.e. the water doesn't seep through)?

Mine did until I ripped them. Good value for a tenner.

Another vote for aldi ones, and the overshoes they did. Kept me dry on commutes days the wimp list was huge! Only issue is when they'll next be in - I think they're in their autumn cycling specials (I don't think they were in last week with the cycling gear).
