Can I use a roof VOIP Aerial to boost mobile phone/broadband signal?

I have a WiFi aerial on the roof that was installed when I signed up to Ripplecom for a VOIP phone line and broadband. The service wasn't that good and we switched to Vodafone Mobile Broadband at the end of the contract, but the Antenna is still there.

So the question is can I connect something inside the house that would use that antenna to boost our mobile phone and/or broadband signal? Would a 3G router do it, or is the antenna completely incompatible with the mobile phone signal?

    Thanks
