Are you sure its in Galway as I think there is one with a similar name in Mayo. The only cycle I know which is coming up in Galway is the following:

Although there might be others so hopefully someone else will be in the know, there was a Lakes Challenge cycle a few weeks back on the 26th April, maybe that was postponed to this weekend???

There's a lake challenge running this week in Boyle as far as I know. I'm not 100% sure though

I will declare that I have a vested intrest in the Western Lakes cc PolkaDot Challenge on Satuday.
But for a 120km route that will test your legs.
Be ridden on 90% good surface.
Through an Area of pure Natural Beaty with very little traffic. Joyce Country/Partry Mountains.
l can honestly say its up there with any other event.
And last but not least the Club will look after you.
