Which TV out of these?

    Hey guys,

I have cleared off any balance I had with Littlewoods and it is now tempting to use them to purchase a new TV! Now I know you technically might get better prices elsewhere but the lack of free cash is encouraging me to go with these guys....

I have a 50inch Samsung Plasma in the living room at home and although I love it - it is only 720 HD ready. It is a nice tv but I have noticed visiting friends houses that their LED Smart TVs have far better images.

I have just purchased an Xbox One and I use Sky TV and Apple TV and I don't really need/want a Smart TV - however - I do want to make the most of the picture quality that HD offers through these platforms.

    My scenario is simple -
Do I drop down from 50inch to 47inch (will I really notice?) and go for a better image quality?

    I am thinking the following:

Panasonic-tx-50a400b-50-inch-full-hd-led-tv but it doesn't seem to get the best reviews

    or

lg-47ln540v-47-inch-full-hd-led-tv will i notice the drop in size?

    Any recommendations?
