ceiling mold

In my bed room the ceiling is beginning to stain and go black. I insulated between the joists buy I don't think I got it right to the end and there are the places that are turning moldy.
It would be a big job to try and push out the insulation as there is ply flooring with tar as it used to be the roof but the previous owners did a hip roof over that and never insulated it.
When I insulated it I was able to lift an 8 x 4 sheet in the middle giving me access to the joists. Then I have to try and push the insulation to the ends to which I though I succeeded but obviously I didn't get it to the end. Is there any solution to this. It only along the wall edge and in the corner?
    Many thanks for you help.
    Kevin

Although its very important insulation isn't your problem when you have mold. You need to look at addressing inadequate ventilation.

Yes and no to this. I would agree totally if it wasnt for recent experience. If there are cold spots in a warm building, that is where mould appears. It is important to improve insulation in these areas. Ventilation is important, but no point of overventilation to cool the warmer areas of ceiling, if insulating the colder areas solve the problem.
