Hi every one, I'm pretty new to this forum and I was hoping that some one might be able to help me please!
I'm really weak in writing personal letters and somehow got stuck with my deferred exam request :(
I've tried so hard and I could come up with this letter so far:

    "To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to request a deferral of my "course code" examination held on "exam date". Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the examination on that day due to medical conditions.

As an adult student, who has been under financial constraints for the past few years, I have had decided to possibly finish my program in 3 years (rather than 4 years) and enter the workforce as soon as possible. This situation had led me to take 18-credits course load in W14 semester, which had worsened my stressful situation and ultimately caused me facing frequent panic attacks.

Although I was not able to complete the evaluation components of the mentioned course, I strongly believe that throughout the semester, I have gained the required knowledge to pass the course, as I have attended every single lecture and studied hard.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.

    Sincerely,

    Pejman
    123456789"

Any correction and/or suggestion would be greatly appreciated:)

    Cheers,
    PJ.

Never mind people, I've actually finished it with an extra couple of lines and submitted it.
    Here how I finished it.

Recently, I’ve been able to take some rest and stay out of stress, which had helped me in recovering from anxiety and nervousness. I’m hoping to overcome my medical issues and be able to illustrate my understanding of the subject matter via writing the deferred exam.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.

    Sincerely,

Hope it will work for me. I'll post the result if it was accepted, so it might help someone else down the road:)

    Peace,
    PJ

I assume your college has a deferred exam and you aren't trying to get them to make one just for you because if you are that will never happen. If they do have a deferred exam you will be required to provide medical certs for the day. If you have a letter from a doctor for that day you should be fine.

    Hey GarlT,
Thanks for following up. I'm actually trying to get the permission to write the one that they already have. I've also submitted the physician attending form. This was the additional personal letter that I had to submitt. Let see what happens!!!

If they already have a repeat exam this won't be a problem, it happens all the time, once you have the medical cert you'll be fine.
