Flaking paint

I am in a bit of a bind.
I had to cut some plasterboard away to run cables for tv behind the wall. I replaced and sanded it all in and then painted the area! Cut area was very small .
The painted finish is dreadful. It flakes, bubbles, peels.
It is taking off the previously sound paintwork and the more i tackle it the bigger the issue becomes. I am diy savvy - well i thought i was, but this issue really has me stumped!
I picked up some primer and undercoat built in, and that bubbled and peeled, i can not even get the base paint on the plasterboard good enough to paint the overcoat on to.
I have ensured the area was clean of dust grit, and of course damp is not the issue as the painted area was perfect before i took on the job.

I hope i have explained the issue and appriciate any advice tips!
    Thanks guys

try either giving it a dust coat (base coat of 50% paint 50% water)

or you can put a mixture of polybond ratio 1-4 on first.

    Both should stop the problem.

If neither of these work then you need to remove all the loose paint untill sound and dust coat/overcoat.

Many thanks for the response Megatron.
I shall give it a go. Thanks for taking the time to write back.
I will post back if it works so others facing the same issue no if this works.
