Interview questions

I have an interview in the morning for a job I really want to do. Only thing is I got a call today that I got another job and I start Monday.

The 2 jobs are in the same industry but different jobs. The one I got is my 2nd choice. What way do I approach that in my interview tomorrow if they ask about what I'm currently doing etc? Do I say I'm supposed to be starting a job Monday or not mention it at all.?

If it were me I'd be honest with them. You've been offered another job. You'd prefer this one. Please if you're going to hire me make an offer quickly.

I have attended the odd interview workshop and the people running them have said to be up front about things like this, I don't see the benefit of keeping it to yourself and you can let company 2 know you'd rather work for them.

This definitely. It will cut through any potential game playing and get cards on the table from the potential employer
