My neighbours are absolute loopers, it's feckin May! Creeps me out going into the toilet during the night, only to see flashing christmas lights outside while taking a wizz - nevermind the garden gnomes and figurines endured during the daytime. Have people lost the plot?!

What makes lights Christmas only ? Sounds just like flashing coloured lights on a tree to me.

Have you little to be worried about?? We have lights on the trees in our garden all year round. Solar lights. They pretty.

Do you live in Clara , co. Offaly OP? That town always has it's Christmas decorations up all year round.
Very odd seeing a large Santa and sleigh on the town bridge in July.

Put a Santa in their garden holding a sign saying "SOON" then the next day take it back

I'd have no complaint if the lights were switched off, but they purposely turn them on during the night! Sporadic occurrence. I won't even go near them having BBQ's outside in January.. must be out of the recession.

maybe they're Australian and finding it hard to adapt.

Jesus, some folk have feck all to do with their time
So what if they have lights in their back garden and or 100's of gnomes etc.
    Its their garden, not yours.
    Mind your nose OP

You need to compete here. Get your own themed garden sorted put. And see how they respond.

There's a very good Malcolm In The Middle episode you could study.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

There are only 230 days to Christmas. Time to get the decorations up.

My neighbour put these lights down either side of their driveway last week.

I does look nice when they're switched on at night but I'm expecting a Boeing 737 to come crashing down on top of the place any evening now.

Are your sure they are gnomes and not elves?

Well Exo,any update. Did you go in,are they dead and if so ...how. Were they murdered by the neighbours on the other side for their inappropriate use of Christmas lights,or did they just die naturally.
Did you put op your own glitter ball in your own garden and beat them at their own game...
    We're all waiting !!:D

Jeeze don't go to Homestore or any of these Outdoorsy type places, with their fancy schmancy barbeques and all that, as seemingly fencing lights (which I'm convinced are those hangy down Christmas lights just rebranded for sale during the year) are all the rage now. Diefrent colours and styles and flashing and all.

Roll on Summer, hopefully the constant lashing rain will short circuit the lot of them.

If you can't beat them, join them.. or put them out of their misery. If you read any murder related articles, it wasn't me .. honest! I wouldn't be surprised if a christmas tree was still up in their living room.

I saw two different cars in the last week, each with their reindeer noses still on the front. I'm glad nobody was in the car with me.

Me too, I might know you, is this neighbours house one number higher than your house?

Don't see the problem lights onshrubbery and tress can be pretty. If they were signing Christmas carols around the neighbourhood you might have a point.

think your neighbours are crazy? my 93 year old neighbour has taken this whole planking craze to the extreme, she has been doing it for 4 days now in her hall just at the bottom of the stairs

They're bright though and make it hard to sleep. Pretty is also a matter of opinion.

No, that's me. And while we're here, would you ever take those underpants in off the line? We all know the wind ain't never gonna blow those stains out and the sound of them flapping about during the storms keeps me awake.
