Which Tyres?

Need to get 3 new tyres on my car in the next while.

Car is a 1.25 fiesta. Mostly driven on windy back roads so I want a decent enough tyre.

Currently have hankooks on the front & bridgestone on the back and never had any trouble with grip or excessive wear.
Looking to Spend 60-70 per tyre.

    What would ye suggest?

Firestone are grand yeah, had them on my Polo years back, never had any issues with them. What price? And any reason you're not replacing all 4 tires? Seems logical given the circumstances.

I'm not doing all four at the moment because the back left is actually still good.
The front 2 were worn unevenly because my tracking was a bit off for a while and the back left was perished (It's apparently a 2006 tyre)

    The firestone tyre is €65
After a few more calls i've narrowed it down to the firestone for 65 or bridgestone potenzas for 80/85 each.
Would there be much difference in grip/wear between the two?

How old is it? I always have to question the logic in wanting good tires all round, and then ending up with different tires on the same axle...

I would go with the firestones. Use the change to buy that 4th tire;)

I can't see the benefit of buying premium brand tires, when firestones grip very well in the dry and wet. Given the car/power they are more than suitable.

I bought the car last August and all four tyres were on it when I got it

Getting four firestones might be the best option so.

    Thanks for your help.

What's the one in the boot like? Replace the four road tyres and use the best between the boot and back left as the spare. Otherwise you'll always have an odd axle.

The spare is a an ancient 13" steelie whereas the rest are 15" alloys

I'd say I'll just go for 4 new firestone or maybe 4 Bridgestone if I can get a good deal.
