Socket AM3

    Hey everybody,

    I have a PC that's a few years old now and has AMD's Socket AM3. I'd like to upgrade the processor in it to the best that I possibly can. They seem relatively hard to find them these days, I thought, because they are seemingly obsolete, I could get one fro cheap - but now I'm not so sure...

    I'm thinking this:
    amd phenom ii x6 1100t black edition

    or this:
    AMD Phenom II X4 980 black edition

    Any ideas what's the best, and where to get them from?
