I have deepen linux installed on pc,
    i got a 17inch monitor.
when i boot up pc, it launches at 800x600 res.

I tried a new install deepen os,
    but because of 800x600 resolution,
i cant see ok, install, start install menu .
SO i cant start the install process.

Haven't heard of it previously ...... but as it is based on Ubuntu apparently probably you should use whatever Ubuntu uses to sort this out.

    (no, I don't use Ubuntu either :) )

It possibly needs a correct driver for you graphics card installed ....

    EDIT
I am downloading it to have a look at what it is like ;)

Did you try the monitors Auto Adjust option if connected through VGA? A 17" should have no problem handling 800x600.

You mean the monitors, auto adjust in the menu,
no i havent tried that ,
The 17inch monitor i,m was trying to use is 6 years old plus.
I,m Using the 19 inch monitor at present in 1024 x768. 60mhz refresh rate.
its just the screen is too wide in my opinion.

    i might try this later.
PC has only vga out interface.

    Yes monitor displays 800x600,
but i cant see the final install menus,
or press ok, install , start install buttons.
IN the deepen os linux install menus.
i can use the terminal , and the linux menus in deepen os .

I think the install menu is designed for 1024 resolution.
