Phone content on your TV?

Just wondering is it possible to connect your phone to your TV and view your photos/videos on it (the TV, I mean)? Anyone doing this? I have an android phone with the small usb port and the TV has a hdmi port. Does a cable exist for this purpose?

    Thanks in advance :)

The Chromecast can do it wirelessly.

Wires are a thing of the past but if you want that route then yes there are Micro USB to HDMI adapters available.

My Xperia S came with a HDMI mini to HDMI port on the device and a cable built in. My Sony BD player has a wireless connection option for youtube videos and Netflix but not for my photo gallery.

    This too shall pass.
