Did have a Walkie Talkie B-868 for €26.20 two months ago from tmart.com.

Great basic rig for the price! Easy to use with controls for volume, channel and PTT. Voice announcement to tell you what channel you're on. Setting the radio to channel 16 places the radio into SCAN-MODE(that can be turned off). Strong signal, great reports back on readability. To program these, you need the USB cable and the CHIRP software. Also software for the BF 480 is used to program it.
I tested it in deep forest (Czech Republic), with a Nagoya NA701 for better range. Sound quality and range is very good.I'd say on-par with my UV-5R.
Work with speaker mics (kenwood type K), has a monitor button, and a led flashlight built in. Perfect radio for airsofters, paintballers. Using repeaters, you can greatly extend your range, but this does require at least a Technician license. Charging times are about 3 hours when really drained.Battery life is excellent. The radios are very simple and work well. Nothing to complain about the radio for this money.

But you stay well away from licensed allocations, right? Unless you're licensed yourself, that is...
