I have one of these, tested till january next year.
Although it has 350k on the clock it was always serviced regularly. Runs very well. It was my road car for the latter half of last year.
Is it of any use to anyone before I break it?

Why break it, though? That thing is cool.

Sell it straight if your not using it anymore. You'll get absolutely nothing for it by breaking it as there are little or none of them left on the road.

Road tax is the main bugbear.
Cruise control and leather in it.
Already scrapped a 2litre one last week, this one got saved by the skin of its teeth.

My dad had one new, pirates black, lovely rear trunk spoiler, leather, cruise, A/C, 150bhp vtec engine, it was sweet.

Stick up and Advert for it somewhere - don't scrap it just yet.

Any photos OP? Had a 2.0 litre one of these years ago, great car in it's day. Not too many of that model still on the road, would be a shame to scrap her.

Agree OP, don't break it. They were a lovely car and it'd be a shame to see such a fine car taken off the road when it's been looked after and runs well.

So are a set of Tallon Triangles but that doesn't mean you'd want them.

Horses for course lads, if your not interested in the topic of this thread then why bother reading or posting in it? A bit of diversity is no harm around here occasionally.

OP where are you based and how much would you want for it?

Indeed I wouldn't but your comparing apples with oranges there. Reliability in a car is a good thing whereas longevity in a cheap set of tyres is a bad thing.

Clarkson liked these Accords when they were new - which is a good sign as - it should be exactly the sort of car hed HATE.

He did pick the 156 ahead of it though

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Why scrap it? If it is in good safe running order, with the NCT until next year you should be able to get €300 for it

Surely the scrapper would only give you half of that max?

Alternatively, part it out for a lot more money than selling it. I believable you have plenty of space where you live? :)
