Humax 1010S Setup Help

    Hi

I recently got a new Humax 1010S White Wifi Box as will be finishing up with Sky at the end of May.

Took it out of the box and got it set up with a London Postcode etc. All Channels seem to be there so happy out with that.

However when I go to the On Demand section there is nothing there. Nothing showing up at all. Now I know that the BBC Iplayer is not going to work but I thought the ITV player would show up and work fine. At the moment all I have is a mobile broadband dongle but the box claims that it is connected to it and when I go into the settings etc I can see the ip address and DNS and all that.

Is there any other settings I need to look at to get the on-demand section active?

    Thanks

Know nothing about this box, but does your router DNS not have to be set up in such a way to fool the box into thinking it's not in Ireland so it can access on demand?

For the BBC Iplayer it certainly does but I thought the ITV player would be available. I was just following some videos on tvtrade.ie which is based in Ireland and it seemed to have Itv Player working perfectly.

Is the dongle connected directly to the Humax? Can you try connecting it to wifi instead. I think I remember something about Humax and proprietary dongles being required.

I have the 1000s and I need a dongle to use ITV player & youtube.

I think the 1010s does not need a wifi dongle though?

Itv player & youtube should be available with your box, there must be a setting you have to change.
