Hoping to get a bit of advice in regards Mini Tri Bars for the new bike.

I am looking to fit a set of Mini Tri Bars to the bike but need to know which would suit the best for the bike?

I was looking at the Giant Giant Connect SL U Type Bar Extensions but there are no dimensions for these bars so presume there are not mini.

I have also been looking at the Deda Elementi Carbon Blast Clip-On Aerobars but looking at the clamp on the bars, they seem to be round as opposed to oval handle bars on the bike.

What are you going to use them for?

I am going to be doing a few triathlons and an Ironman this year. Hoping to just rest on them for periods of time on the flat.

What handlebars are on the bike? Surely they're not oval all the way through, i.e. they'd need to be round where they're clamped by the stem?

This is the Contact SLR Integrated Aero handlebar. Is this what you have on at the moment?

Sorry for the late reply. It is the Propel SL 3 that I have which came with the Contact SLR Aero Handle bar.

It is pretty much the same oval shape.

Giant do a U type bar that you attach with the Aero clip on Bar clamp but gives no dimensions. I am looking for something small to rest the wrists and hands on.

"The new Giant Contact Aero clip-on clamp allows the fitting of aero extensions to the aero shape Contact bar found on the Giant Propel. Partnered with Giant's range of extensions you can tailor your aero position."

The various extensions look simple enough to chop down, assuming they are not butted internally.

Maybe you should give the Dublin Giant shop a ring.

Sorry for the Hijack but I also have the Giant slr aero bar (not the integrated version) and wondered if anyone knows of a Garmin out front mount that suits
