Its almost certain that your timing chain is stretched as this throws the camshaft sensor fault and can cause the running and power issues you suffered.

Its a very common issue with your engine unfortunatly.

    Hi,
my nissan micra k11 02 reg has ts engine oil light coming on especially on humps and corners initially and thats just few hundred metres from home, same every day, same place.and after that it never came again.but now after a week, the light comes and goes every now and then, stays for two seconds and goes and then after few seconds or may be a bit longer 10 - 20 seconds, comes again.
the car has recently full serviced with fully synthetic engine oil and has its fuel pump replaced as well.
also, the mechanic said the cv joint on front left needs to be done as small bit of grease and oil coming out, think that as reason for some strange noise when making sharp turns or corners.
could u help me with these problems, recently bought only so plann to keep it

Check the oil level using the dip stick, and top up with the correct oil. That should be the main priority. If you need more.info.let us know, but oil is very important!
