MW3. Mouse movement..sudden jump in dpi

I bought MW3 for a couple of quid and installed it. Running into a problem where when I turn using the mouse I get sudden jumps in dpi, as in, the mouse jumps incredibly quickly when rotating either left or right. I bought MW3 for a couple of quid and installed it. Running into a problem where when I turn using the mouse I get sudden jumps in dpi, as in, the mouse jumps incredibly quickly when rotating either left or right. It usually jumps about 90 degrees in the relevant direction.
It's the only game it does this on. Even dropping the dpi to really low levels causes it to jump when turning but to a lesser degree but it's not a workable solution really.
Using a Logitech G700 with the latest software and drivers.

It seems to be a common enough problem on PC but I cant find a definitive solution to it online.

Anyone else suffer from this or know how to get rid of it.
