M1 Toll Tag

Does anyone know much about the E-Toll on the M1 toll booth? I drive through the M1 Toll on the way to and from work, so 2 journeys x 5 days x €1.90 adds up, if there is any kind of saving I can make, it's work my while.

How do I go about getting the tag? Anything I search comes up for the M50.

How much is the auto pay as you go?

Anybody ever run into problems using it?

Electronic toll tags are offered by a number of companies. They are a convenient way of using tolls if a regular user, by allowing you to go through the express lane. There is no saving however on the M1 toll rate, the only toll that offers a discount by using a tag is on the M50. There is also a monthly admin fee on a tag, so technically it would cost you money.

Not all tags charge the monthly admin fee. At least one tag company, tolltag.ie, charge the admin fee on one of their tag accounts by adding 10% to the price of the toll when you use it. If you don't use it there's no monthly cost.
