Whine/screech noise

    Recently in my car a whining/screeching noise comes for about 10-15 seconds when I stop the car in traffic after travelling a couple of KM's. It happens then sometimes when taking off in first gear as well for about 10-15 seconds. Any ideas what it is?

    Only happens when stopped in traffic or in first gear moving slowly

    Fan/alternater belt.
    Timing belt if one maybe sound also.
    A/C also.

    Had the timing belt done around 10,000km ago.

    I'd say its the fan/alternator from googling the noise there. Expensive to get replaced?
