    Check this out. Lol.

It’s part of the Run for Life Red Bull thing last weekend. Last person running. It’s down to the last three people in the world.

Two are still racing in Austria after almost five hours and one of the runners tries take out the second last runner!

Keeps running in front of him to chop his stride before finally trying to run him off the road

I don't get it? What were they trying to do and how did the "race" work?

Ever read The Long Walk? That!

Basic idea is to stay ahead of the sweeper car, which starts 30 minutes after the runners, and gradually accelerates. Once the sweeper car passes you, your race is over. You need to hit the marathon point in around 3:09, IIRC. TFBubendorfer and WoundedKnee (from around these parts) participated. The race took part simultaneously across all participating countries, so the final remaining runner ran further than anyone else, before being overtaken by the sweeper car.

WoundedKnee didn't just take part, he won it!

Apart from that it was just like Krusty said, once the car caught you, you were out. You had 1:52 for the half marathon, 3:08 for the full, and if you wanted to run 100k you would have had to break the world record.

It's surprisingly stressful to be hunted down by a car!
