From the bike to work website.

What happens if the bike gets stolen before I’ve paid for it?
It will still be down to you to complete the full payment even if you no longer possess the bike. It is very important to insure the bike, and any goods fitted to the bike, to safeguard against the losses following theft. You can obtain safety equipment from Bike to Work partnering shops, where you can ask for approved ‘Secure’ D-locks and cable locks to conform to insurance companies requirements.

How often can an employee apply for a bike or a ticket?
Employees can apply for a bike once every five years, i.e. once in each period of five calendar years. For example: if an employee got a bike anytime in 2009; they will be able to get another bike from January 2014. Employees can apply for a bike and a public transport ticket if they are using both modes to commute to work.

    No.

Are you sure you have no cover under your house insurance? Most policies will cover a bicycle up to e500 but it usually needs to be a specified item

Best you can do is to see if you can get it back.

Have you been to the Gardai? Keep an eye out on Donedeal/Adverts for it being sold there. Do you know the make/model and the serial number?

Buy a better lock the next time and learn how to securely lock it and the best location.

Yeah Gardai have been informed and have alerts set up on DD/Adverts/Gumtree

I would have considered inside my locked house as secure as you could possibly be but they managed to get in though a triple lock window.
